The Ephemeris Precision
Planetary coordinates and celestial mechanics powered by Astronomy Engine (MIT), with custom algorithmic house cusps calculation (Placidus with polar Whole Sign fallback). More decimal places do not imply greater accuracy: the engine targets approximately one arcminute. Birth-time and location uncertainty remain part of the result.
The Solar Threshold — Li Chun, 315°
The eastern year pillar changes when apparent solar longitude crosses 315°, the beginning of spring in the solar-term calendar. January births normally belong to the preceding cycle; early February requires the actual crossing instant. This is a convention of this calendar, not a universal astronomical new year. We identify animal, element and yin/yang polarity, not a complete four-pillar BaZi chart.
Domification & Horizon
The birth instant is converted to UTC. Latitude and longitude orient the horizon and meridian. At absolute latitudes of 66.5° or higher, or when semi-arc equations do not converge, the calculation switches to Whole Sign and records this in its metadata. In Whole Sign, MC remains a separate angle and need not be the tenth cusp. A wrong daylight-saving offset can outweigh numerical rounding. Without a reliable birth time, axes and houses are omitted.
Archetypal Psychology
Coordinates provide structure; archetypes provide an interpretive vocabulary for motives, emotional security, social presentation and responses to pressure. These are symbolic hypotheses for reflection, not measured personality traits, clinical diagnoses or scientifically validated predictions. Compare the reading with lived experience and retain the freedom to disagree.
The 2026–2027 chronicle
Quarterly Jupiter and Saturn positions in UTC are compared with natal positions. These snapshots suggest broad symbolic themes of expansion and consolidation, not exact transit dates or guaranteed events. They cannot establish a timetable for investments or health decisions.
Elements, codes and materials
Element shares count the seven reported planetary positions equally: a declared symbolic model, not a physical measurement of a person. Life Path numbers and material correspondences are cultural tools for reflection. Metals, minerals and colours are not presented as treatments.
